The Carnifex is a living engine of destruction evolved for use in shock assaults, space ship boarding actions and massed battles where it can smash through almost any obstacle, whether it is a defensive line, enemy tanks or a fortified position. The assault of these creatures is terrifying to behold, a primeval force which smashes men and vehicles aside like children's toys.

This took a couple of days to pump out--its a truly massive drawing, taking up nearly 90% of the page, befitting a Carnifex.
This came about after a discussion with a friend on how to model two Lashwhips on the creature, and he said "why not make the arms segmented, like Ivy's whip from Soul Caliber?" This was utterly brilliant to me, and I gladly took the offered idea to heart.
I wouldn't want to be anything facing that thing! Except one of the Necron Gods. They're about the only thing to walk away mostly unscathed by a Carnifex.
Indeed. But, hell, the Star Gods are easy to kill. Best tactic? Ignore them. Attack the Warriors with impunity, and eventually they'll phase out and bam, instant win. Same tactic with the Monolith.
green stuff and wire with perhaps some spliced up/off chitin plates off hormagaunts/termagaunts (excuse the spellings i'm a not a 'nids player) would be my suggestion.

I was thinking more along the lines of carefully splitting the large scything talons the model comes with in sectional chunks, with some wire and green stuff. The Toxic Miasma biomorph (the tubes on its back) is easy to mold, and the front mandibles will likely be easy to make.
nicely done image and indeed they are a fearsome beast to behold and even more so to fight (thankfully i've never took one on yet but have seen info on them). As for the C'tan - i think even khorne himself might think twice about taking one on
nicely done shading and truly brings this firghtening creature to life. Insta-fav
